Thank you for visiting our website.

I have been involved in oil exploration for over 34 years and have worked in the corporate drilling sector for over 20 years, during which time I have been directly involved in the drilling, rehabilitation, and abandonment of many oil and natural gas wells in Japan and abroad.

There are many types of wells, including oil and natural gas wells, geothermal and hot spring wells, observation wells, research wells, and water wells, but working on a well is never easy.

For example, oil and natural gas well drilling operations can take place in rough seas, mountainous regions, extremely cold regions, and scorching deserts in Japan and abroad. The real hard work begins when the drilling equipment is somehow brought to the site.

Of course, the weight of the lifting pipes alone is considerable, since thousands of meters of iron pipes are hung from them and drilling tools called bits are attached to the ends of the pipes. In addition, as the depth of the well increases, the temperature and pressure inside the well increases, exposing the many electrical components and hydraulic sealing rubber products used in the well to their limits. In addition, during drilling, we encounter many problems, such as weather problems such as typhoons that force us to stop the work, expensive mud used as the drilling fluid that seeps into the formation and is lost, gas and oil spewing out, and pipes being buried. Sometimes it can be very dangerous. Many people involved in the project work together to solve such problems one by one, and finally a well is completed.

Although the technology for drilling, renovating, and abandoning wells is advancing year by year, it has not yet reached the level where all wells can be completed as planned, and there are many areas that cannot be solved from a technical standpoint that must be solved by experience. In well construction, which requires a large amount of fixed costs per day, a single problem can lead to major delays in the process, which not only increases construction costs but also delays the entire process, resulting in significant damage in many cases.

Against this background, we at VET’S have established our company in order to be of service to our customers who are constructing various types of wells by providing a wide range of consulting services, from design to construction, based on the experience we have accumulated through the construction of many wells in Japan and abroad, both offshore and onshore.

We provide consulting services on well construction in various forms to meet the needs of our clients. Of course, we work not only with oil and natural gas wells, but also with geothermal, hot springs, and many other types of wells, and by working with various types of wells, we aim to bring out the best aspects of each and provide our clients with a higher level of technology.

In my experience, I have learned through my own body that the smallest problem in the course of well work can create a dangerous situation from a security standpoint, or lead to significant process delays and increased costs. In fact, there are several cases every year in the world where well blowouts cause extensive damage to people and property. Therefore, we consider it most important to perform our work one by one, although it may be unspectacular. Of course, we are always striving for technological improvement, but we are dealing with nature and the earth. We must not forget our sense of awe, bearing in mind that there are still many parts of the earth that we do not yet understand.

In recent years, problems such as global warming have become apparent. However, with the rapid economic growth of emerging countries, the demand for energy continues to increase and the development of underground resources has become more active than ever before. In other words, development and environmental preservation are required. We are committed to contributing to society through safe, reliable, and efficient development of underground resources in harmony with the Earth, while improving our technologies.
